Answer: When a game seems to end 'sooner than it should' it is usually because one of the players resigned. If you see 'B+R' or 'W+R' in the title bar, it indicates a win by resignation. Sometimes the result is not indicated. It is then generally safe to assume that the player who made the last move won by resignation.
