When the yin-yang button is up MasterGo searches for the pattern one time, with the color of the stones as specified by your pattern. When the yin-yang button is depressed MasterGo searches for the pattern two times. In the first search the color of the stones is as specified by your pattern. The second search the color of the stones is inverted. On average, the number of games in the result set doubles when the yin-yang is depressed.
